An Idea for My Next Book
Plus a reminder about our community book club
I thought I’d put together a short post today with a request for feedback, a reminder about our upcoming community book club, and more.
As I’ve been gearing up for the August launch of my book Failing Our Future (available for pre-order), I’ve been thinking a lot about what to do next. I will still continue working on grading reform, via workshops and larger-scale initiatives, and I really think of this as the work that will be central to my career for the foreseeable future, but I also want to continue to explore other ideas in my writing.
I have been brainstorming a couple of possibilities with my agent, and I think I’ve decided what my next book will be about. As a writer, this has always been both an energizing and terrifying moment, but I’m eager to share the idea and get your feedback. Ready? Drumroll please…
